Rosary of the Divine Mercy (The Chaplet):
(On ordinary Rosary beads)
First say one 'Our Father', one 'Hail Mary', and
'The Apostles' Creed'.
Then on the large beads say this prayer instead of 'Our Father', on starting of each mystery :
'Eternal Father, I offer you the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of your dearly Beloved Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.'
On the smaller(10) beads, instead of 'Hail Mary', you are to say the following prayer :
'For the sake of His sorrowful Passion have mercy on us and on the whole world.'
In conclusion, you are to say instead of 'Glory be' this prayer 3 times :
'O Holy God, O Holy Mighty One, O Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whole world.'
Make your petition after completing the rosary.

Jesus said, "Anyone who says this chaplet will receive great mercy at the hour of death. Priests will recommend it to sinners as the last hope. Even the most hardened sinner, if he recites this chaplet even once, will receive grace from my Infinite Mercy. I want to give unimaginable graces to those who trust in my mercy."
Jesus said regarding the veneration of His Image of 'Divine Mercy',
"I promise that the soul that will venerate this picture will not perish. I further promise to that soul victory over enemies here on earth and especially in the hour of death. I myself shall defend that soul as My own Glory...I will preserve the cities and homes in which this image shall be venerated."

Prayer to the FIVE WOUNDS of CHRIST:               back to the main topic

To the Wound of the Right Hand of Christ:

O my Lord Jesus Christ, be You ever blessed and praised for the most holy wound in Your right hand. Because of this most sacred wound grant me the pardon of all the sins I have committed by thought, word, and deed, and by omission. Give me the grace worthily to venerate Your most precious death and these Your sacred wounds; and grant that by Your help I may mortify my body, and may be able to render thanks for this great gift to You who lives with the Father and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Our Father...        Hail Mary...        Glory be...

To the Wound in the Left Hand of Christ:

Be You ever blessed and praised, O most sweet Lord Jesus Christ, for the most sacred wound in Your left hand. Because of it have mercy upon me, and deign to take from me all that is not in conformity with Your most holy will. Grant me the grace to be victorious over Your most cruel enemies and to repulse all their assaults: by Your most holy death free me from all the dangers of this life and from the Eternal pains of Hell; and by Your grace may I be worthy to enter the Kingdom of the blessed there to enjoy Your glory for ever. Amen.
Our Father...        Hail Mary...        Glory be...

To the Wound in the Right Foot of Christ:
Be You ever blessed and praised, O most sweet Lord Jesus Christ, for the most sacred wound in Your right foot. Because of it give me the grace to do penance for my sins: and by Your most precious death I humbly beg You not to permit that I, Your servant, should ever turn away from Your most holy will, and save both my soul and body. Receive my soul when I come to die into Your most holy arms and bring me into Your blessed Kingdom there to share in Your Eternal joy for ever. Amen.
Our Father...        Hail Mary...        Glory be...

To the Wound in the Left Foot of Christ:
Be You ever blessed and praised, O most merciful Lord Jesus Christ, for the most sacred wound in Your left foot. Because of it pardon me all my sins, and by Your holy grace save me from the pains of Hell. Most kind Lord Jesus Christ, I pray You by Your most holy death to grant that before I pass to another life, I may have perfect contrition for my sins and the grace to be able to make a good confession of them, that purified in soul and body I may be able to receive You in holy Viaticum; grant me also to receive Extreme Unction that thus I may be comforted in my passage into Eternity. Amen.
Our Father...        Hail Mary...        Glory be...

To the Wound in the Side of Our Redeemer:
Be You ever blessed and praised, O most kind Lord Jesus Christ, for the sacred wound in Your most holy Side. Because of it, and because of Your infinite mercy shown to Longinus when he tore open Your breast, which You ever held open as our only refuge, I pray You, O most pitiful Jesus, that as through Baptism You had cleansed me from original sin, so, by Your most precious Blood, and by the merit of all the Holy Masses offered throughout Your whole Church, to free me from every evil, past, present, and to come. Through Your most bitter death grant me firm faith, constant hope, and perfect charity to love You with my whole heart and soul, and with all my strength. Confirm me in good works, give me perseverance in Your holy service that in everything and always I may be able to please until the end of my life. Amen.
Our Father...        Hail Mary...        Glory be...

To Jesus Crucified:
My most Merciful Jesus, who are full of kindness and love for men, I look to You with all the poor love of my heart, and pray to You through the immense suffering of Your most holy soul when, for love of us on the cross, You were oppressed by the weight of that most mysterious abandonment of You by Your Heavenly Father to whom You did turn with the words: "My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?" Because of this Your dereliction I beseech You save me from the terrible effects of Your just indignation at my sins. Most kind Redeemer, hear not to Your divine justice but to Your infinite mercy, and grant that though all unworthy as I am I may still experience Your goodness to those who trust in the infinite merits of Your most holy Passion, and in the bitter sufferings and martyrdom of Your most holy soul.
Our Father...        Hail Mary...        Glory be...

Prayer to the CRUCIFIX which                      back to the main topic
spoke to St.Francis:
I. O most benign and crucified lord, who deigned to hear the ardent prayer of St.Francis, Your poor one, and to repay his trusting love of You by speaking to him from this Crucifix bidding him repair the mystical temple of the Church, Your bride, grant that each one of us may turn to You with love and confidence. From this Crucifix Your eyes still speak to us; O may Your look urge us in the way of perfection, having You always before our eyes, You our goal and our reward. Illuminate our minds to know You always better; fortify our wills that we may steadfastly accomplish all that You taught from this Throne of your Love, this Altar of Your mercy. Let Your divine will be fulfilled in us, let us contemplate and love Your Cross that we may share in Your glory.
Our Father...        Hail Mary...        Glory be...

II. O most sweet crucified Lord, who from this throne of infinite loving kindness did shower divine graces upon afflicted humanity through the intercession of our holy Mother Clare, look in pity upon all our weaknesses, and by the merits of Your beloved bride and mindful of the tears of love which she poured out before You, grant us, we pray, the grace to weep bitterly for our sins which have crucified You with infinite suffering upon this hard wood. May Your five most holy wounds be the continual object of our loving meditation; and grant that from them, as from miraculous springs, heavenly blessings may be poured into our souls with all Your divine consolations and graces which may render us worthy of You, and draw us into ever closer union with Your divine love, and bring us to eternal salvation.
Our Father...        Hail Mary...        Glory be...

III. Most loving Jesus, prostrated before You, we beseech You from Your cross to speak words of mercy and kindness to our souls. We well know that we are unworthy of such grace, but You, in Your loving kindness had said to us, "Ask and you shall receive, knock and it shall be opened to you." Therefore trusting in Your own promises we pray for all those who suffer, begging of You to hear them. May Your restoring grace descend into their souls and console them, and into their bodies that they may be fortified to love and serve You better. And if our unworthiness is an obstacle to these graces, ah, do not deny them to the saints, Francis and Clare, whom we place before You as our intercessors. O good Jesus, deign to conform every single will to Your most holy will, and to all give resignation in the sufferings of this earthly life. And grant that we, illuminated by Your grace, may consider our small sufferings as an example of Your infinite sufferings for us, and also as a proof of Your special love for us; thus we will consider them as a token of Your mercy, and of our eternal happiness.
Three Our Fathers, Hail Marys & Glory bes...

The following steps of the Passion are then recited:
Most sweet Jesus, Who in the agony in the garden did pray to Your Father and did suffer the sweat of blood, have mercy on us.
Most sweet Jesus, stripped of Your garments, and most cruelly flagellated at the pillar, have mercy on us.
Most sweet Jesus, crowned with thorns, mocked and struck, blindfolded and beaten with reeds, overwhelmed with derision and oppobrium, have mercy on us.
Most sweet Jesus, burdened with the wood of the cross and led to the place of execution as a lamb is led to the slaughter, have mercy on us.
Most sweet Jesus, dying on the cross, in the presence of Your Mother, Your side opened by the lance, and sending forth blood and water, have mercy on us.
Most sweet Jesus, taken down from the cross with Your body full of wounds, watered by the tears of Your Virgin Mother, have mercy on us.
Most sweet Jesus, with Your wounded body wrapped in linen with many spices, have mercy on us.
"They pierced My hands and Feet. They numbered all my bones."

Let us pray:
O Lord Jesus Christ, Who did descend to earth from the bosom of the Father, and did pour out Your precious Blood for the remission of our sins; we humbly beseech You that in the day of judgment we may be found worthy to hear Your words, "Come you blessed." Who with the Father and the Holy Ghost lives and reigns God for everlasting. Amen.
