   We should always begin and end our prayers with the Sign of the Cross because it reminds us of the two important Mysteries of our Faith, the Blessed Trinity and our Redemption. This shortest prayer is said like this -
THE SIGN OF THE CROSS:
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

THE LORD'S PRAYER:
One day Jesus was praying in a certain place.When he had finished, one of his disciples said to him, "Lord, teach us to pray, just as John taught his disciples." Jesus said to them, "When you pray, say this:
Our Father, who art in Heaven, Hallowed be your name, Your Kingdom come; Your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen."
This prayer is the best prayer because it was taught by Jesus himself and is meant to be a pattern of all our prayers and is called "The Lord's Prayer".
Its seven petitions could hardly be shorter and yet so exalted.

THE HAIL MARY:                                                    
   Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with you; blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus.
           Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

GLORY BE:
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

THE APOSTLES' CREED (The Profession of Faith):
I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of Heaven and Earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord. He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended to the dead. On the third day he rose again. He ascended into Heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic Church, he communion os Saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.

An Act of Contrition:                                                   
O my God, I am sorry and beg pardon for all my sins, and detest them above all things, because they deserve your dreadful punishment; because they offend your infinite goodness. And I firmly resolve, with the help of your grace, never to offend you again, and carefully to avoid the occassions of sin.

An Act of Faith:
O my God, I firmly believe in you and in all that your Church teaches, because you have revealed it; and because you are Truth itself who can neither deceive nor be deceived.

An Act of Hope:
O my God, I firmly hope for pardon of my sins, grace and life everlasting, through the merits of Christ our Lord; because you, the Almighty and merciful God, has promised them to me, and because your promises can never fail.

An Act of Charity:
O my God, I love you with my whole heart and above all things, because you are infinitely good in yourself and infinitely good to me; and for your sake I also love my neighbour as myself.

I Confess:
     I confess to Almighty God, and to you, my brothers and sisters that I have sinned through my own fault, in my thoughts and in my words, in what I have done, and in what I have failed to do; and I ask Blessed Mary, ever Virgin, all the angels and saints, and you my brothers and sisters, to pray for me to the Lord our God.

Let us bow in adoration.
To this sacrament so great,
Here in new and perfect worship,
All the old must terminate.
Senses cannot grasp this marvel,
Faith must serve to compensate.

Let us Pray : O God, we posses a lasting memorial of your passion in this wondrous sacrament. Grant that we may so venerate the mysteries of your body and blood that we may always feel within ourselves the effects of your redemption; you who live and reign, forever and ever. Amen.

Morning Prayer:
                                                        
O Jesus, give me this day the energy I need to face my work, the diligence I need to do it well. Give me the self-discipline which will make me work just as hard, even if there be none to see and none to praise, and none to blame. Give me the courtesy which will make me easy to live with and easy to work with. Help me so to live today that I may make this world a happier place. Help me, all through this day, to be a comfort to the sad, a friend to the lonely, an encouragement to the disheartened and a help to those in need. Amen.

Night Prayer:
Forgive me, O Jesus, for anyone whom I have hurt, or failed , or disappointed today and for any wrong thing I have said or donr today. Thanks for all the new things I have learned today, for everything I have enjoyed today. Thanks for all the people I met and all the love and kindness I have experienced today. Give me a good night's sleep. When I lie down, I go to sleep in peace; you alone, O Lord, keep me perfectly safe. Grant that tomorrow I may awaken refreshed for your work and service. This I ask from you, dear Jesus. Amen.

The Blessing before meals:                                        
  Bless us O Lord and these your gifts, which of your bounty we are about to receive, through Christ our Lord. Amen.

    We give you thanks Almighty God for these and all the benefits we have received through Jesus Christ, Our Lord. Amen.
