 16th ANNIVERSARY OF JEEVAN DHAM CELEBRATED ZESTFULLY!

On July 6, 2007 Jeevan Dham completed its 16 precious years in the service of the poor, the needy, the sick and the dejected people. Moreover, this day remarked the completion of 21 years of the celebration of the Holy Eucharistic Service in the House, that is, at House No. 696/ Sec-22, Faridabad. The Eucharistic Service which started here in 1986 with the Sunday evening Mass, and later with the Friday morning Mass, is now celebrated everyday (in the morning during the weekdays) through His Mercy and divine grace.
Since September 2003, the month after the Most Precious Blood of our Lord (with the no. 24 wriiten in blood signifying the presence of Almighty God at Jeevan Dham 24 hours a day, that is, always) fell on the floor on the left side of the altar in the House, the 24-hour adoration has been going on non-stop for the past 4 years by the grace of Almighty God.
On this blissful occasion of the anniversary celebration of Jeevan Dham, Rev. Victor D’Souza, the Vicar General of the Delhi Archdiocese, was invited to offer a Thanksgiving Mass by Jeevan Dham. He was welcomed with a garland and showers of rose petals from the people who were praising and thanking God for His precious gifts and blessings to Jeevan Dham. Priests from different parishes of Delhi, Gurgaon and Faridabad, namely Rev. Fr. Johnson Kizhakkeveetil (our Parish Priest), Rev. Fr. Arnold David, Rev. Fr. Anthony Francis, Rev. Fr. Albert Francis, Rev. Fr. Thomas Urumbumkuzhy (CMF), Rev. Fr. Thomas Chambakatt, and Rev. Fr. George Panakal, joined Rev. Fr.Victor in the celebration of the Holy Mass.
The Vicar thanked the Almighty God for the 16 years of Jeevan Dham. He congratulated the family of Jeevan Dham, chosen and strengthened by God in His faith and love. He gave an inspiring homily based on the faith aspect of a real Christian which involves the good deeds corresponding to one’s faith since faith without works is dead and service without love is fruitless. The liturgy was enriched with lively, melodious and meaningful hymns. The last recessional hymn was a special colourful hymn of Jeevan Dham depicting it as a huge Tree of Life planted by almighty God, protected by His Son and Blessed Virgin Mary, and glorified by the Holy Spirit. At the conclusion of the Eucharistic celebration, Rev. Fr. Victor imparted the blessings to the congregation.
Then He cut the big 16th Anniversary Cake along with the Jeevan Dham family. Later the concelebrants and all the sisters present joined the table fellowship.
We are thankful to the almighty God for all the favours we received on that day. We are grateful to all the Fathers who took time out from their schedule and came to celebrate with us and shjare our joy in the Lord making the occasion more meaningful and increasing our joy manifold. We thank all the religious Sisters who joined us in the celebration.
We pray that more and more people may join us in prayer for the 24-hour adoration (as it is going on everyday for the past four years strengthening the power of the prayer service being conducted every Sunday), and that they may praise and glorify the name of Jesus through their words and deeds, and by adoring Him in spirit and truth they may obtain heavenly graces and blessings, attain perfection in love, joy, faith and wisdom, become His beloved children and inherit Eternal Life in Heaven. PRAISE THE LORD! ALLELUIA!!

O Lord Jesus Christ, our Mediator with the Father, Who has deigned to appoint the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Mystical Rose, Your Mother and the Mother of Your Church, to be our Mother also and our Mediatrix with You, graciously grant that whosoever goes to You in quest of blessings may be gladdened by obtaining them all through the Immaculate Heart of Mary. You, Who lives and reigns with the Father and the Holy Ghost, ever one God, world without end. Amen.
O Mother, you are leading the way for us in your love for your Son, Jesus Christ. Together with you, let us help the afflicted religious but especially our priests. They have the most sacred power and authority to transform wine and bread into the Body of Your Son; they are the intermediaries between God and us; they bear the great responsibility for our souls. But we are also responsible for the Holy Church to produce holy priests. Help us through Your Immaculate Heart, O sorrowful Mother, who is burning with love for us. Amen.
Maria, Rosa Mystica, our soul becomes joyful as we behold this flower; these green leaves are a sign of our eternal youth; Maria, Rosa Mystica, Mother of the Infant Christ, Our Lord, and all the souls entrusted to Your maternal care; pierce our flesh in sorrow by Your thorns.  A) HE BLESSED US WITH TWIN BABIES AFTER 8 YEARS OF OUR MARRIAGE!!

I, Babita(age-22 years), got married to Jeetendra(age-26 years) 8 years ago and I have been attending the Sunday prayer service at Jeevan Dham for the past 3 years, though not regularly. Within a year of our marriage I got pregnant but lost the baby. We took treatment from various hospitals in New Delhi came to know from them that we could never have a child. We spent over forty (40) thousand rupees on the treatment during all these years. At last, we had to give up hope.
But since I started coming here at Jeevan Dham for the Sunday prayer service, I saw a ray of hope. I believed that nothing was impossible for God from what I had observed and heard from the testimonies that people were giving on the stage. Fortunately for us, through the grace of loving God, I became pregnant last year. We used to pray at home everyday and ask for God’s blessings. But suddenly last month there again arose one complication. The doctor informed that I would have to undergo an operation as one of the twin babies I was going to conceive was upside down. My husband kept on praying for me. Miraculously, I delivered twin babies (a boy and a girl) without undergoing any operation. Today, after one month, we have brought them, Archana and Kamal, to give our testimony on the stage for the miraculous gifts we have received from God. Yes, everything is possible for Him and to Him we give all thanks, glory and praise.

 B) KIDNEY STONE DISAPPEARS THROUGH THE POWER OF GOD’S WORD!

 Praise be to Jesus! Thanks be to Jesus!
I, Rakesh Kumar (age-37 years), have been attending the prayer service at Jeevan Dham for the past 5 weeks. I had been suffering due to a stone in my kidney for the past few months. When I had myself examined at Safdarjung Hospital, the doctors from the Ultrasound test that there was a stone in one of my kidneys having a diameter of around 8 millimetres and this could be removed only by an operation. The expense for the operation (over Rs.20, 000) was unaffordable for me and with no guarantee of success from the doctor, I was frightened to get operated. So, I tried to get rid of the stones by taking medicine only. However, the pain never subsided and my condition became all the more pitiful.
My wife, who used to attend the Sunday prayer service at Jeevan Dham regularly prayed for me and assured me of getting healed if I too attended the prayer on Sundays with faith in almighty God. Since then onwards, I started attending the prayer service without failure. From the last month onwards, I started getting gradual relief in my pain. Last week when had an ultrasound test done again, the doctor was surprised to find that the stone in my kidney had vanished altogether. No more do I need to take medicine or undergo any operation. I firmly believe that this miracle happened only through the grace of God who had mercy on me and answered our prayers without delay. I can never forget the favours He has bestowed on me. Now I can work without any pain or discomfort and can have my meals without restrictions. Praise the Lord!! Alleluia! Glory and thanks be to God!
