 BECOME A NEW CREATION IN CHRIST THIS YEAR!

Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea was no more. And I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “See, the home of God is among mortals. He will dwell with them as their God; they will be his peoples, and God himself will be with them; he will wipe every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more; mourning and crying and pain will be no more, for the first things have passed away.”
And the one (Jesus) who was seated on the throne said, “See, I am making all things new.” Also he said, “Write this, for these words are trustworthy and true.” (Rev. 21:1-5).
And John, the beloved disciple of Christ, wrote down everything, what he had seen and heard, in his Book of Revelation. Indeed, it is Christ who brings new things into our life, who started a New Covenant with us, who reconciled, justified, and redeemed us sinners with God through his death, by his Precious blood. Only Christ, the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the Life and Resurrection, the Eternal High priest, can change our lives, our thoughts, our views, our character, and our destiny. St. Paul truly writes, "So if anyone is in Christ, there is a new creation: everything old has passed away; see, everything has become new! All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation; ...So we are ambassadors for Christ, since God is making his appeal through us; we entreat you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God." (2 Cor. 5:17-18, 20).
This New Year, provided to you by the grace and mercy of God, you could start, without any hesitation, fear or doubt, a new life in Christ putting away your former way of life, your old self, which was corrupt and deluded by its lusts. "..Be renewed in the spirit of your minds, and clothe yourselves with the new self, created according to the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness. (Eph. 4:23-24). This New Year new blessings, promises, surprises, things, events, experiences, and opportunities are awaiting you. You have to go through them keeping trust in God so that you may experience His Divine presence, His love, mercy, protection, providence, peace, and joy in your life everyday. Put yourself into the hands of God, surrender to His will, obey His commandments, always pray to Him to be in constant touch with Him, thank Him under all circumstances for all the favours, blessings and healings received, and do everything for His glory. Then you will find yourself being transformed inwardly day by day. "Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your minds, so that you may discern what is the will of God—what is good and acceptable and perfect." (Rom. 12:1-2).
Remember, that God, our Heavenly Father and our Creator, has given us this precious life on earth for some purpose and goal, and He has a divine plan for each one of us- for the welfare of His children because He loves and cares for everyone. The Lord says, "For surely I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, plans for your welfare and not for harm, to give you a future with hope. Then when you call upon me and come and pray to me, I will hear you. When you search for me, you will find me; if you seek me with all your heart. (Jer. 29:11-13). May God Bless you all abundantly, protect you, and be with you always to lead you by His Holy Spirit to the Life Eternal. Amen. - Editor

O DEAR MOTHER OF GOD, MOTHER OF ALL MANKIND, INTERCEDE FOR US!

FEAST DAY: FIRST DAY OF THE YEAR(Jan.1)
O Mother of the Redeemer, Gate of Heaven, star of the sea, assist your people who have fallen yet strive to rise again. To the wonderment of nature you bore your Creator, yet remained a Virgin after as before, You, who received Gabriel's joyful greeting, have pity on us, poor sinners. Turn upon us your motherly countenance and raise us up to a state of perfect friendship with God.
Let us pray:
Father, source of light in every age, the Virgin conceived and bore your Son, who is called the Prince of Peace. May her prayer, the gift of a mother's love, be your people's joy through all ages. May her response, born of a humble heart, draw your Spirit to rest on your people. Amen.

 ALL THANKS & GLORY TO GOD!
Christmas 2008 Celebrations:

We thank our Heavenly Father for His Providence and peace that He had showered on His people at Jeevan Dham who came for the Christmas Celebrations (numbering over 8,000) at St.Anthony's School ground, Sec-9 Fbd. on Sunday Dec.28, 2008. On this occasion, the ushers distributed Halwa-poori packets to all..
those seated while the Christmas Carols were sung joyfully and Santa Claus joined the choir on the stage. It was a delightful sight to see such a massive crowd from the stage, which enjoyed every moment of the programme. Everything went on peacefully through God's grace.
We are grateful to all the Sisters and the Noviciates, the Halwai and his workers who worked overnight to prepare halwa poori, the volunteers and the youth, and all those who contributed in some or the other way to make ths programme a success. We thank them all for their active participation and deeply appreciate their wonderful work. Even the celebrations at 696, Sec-22 Fbd. on Dec. 25 went very peacefully. All this became possible through the grace and love of Christ who promises- "Ask, and it will be given you" and sends showers of blessings from heaven for his believers. ALLELUIA!!
JEEVAN DHAM WISHES ALL A BLISSFUL NEW YEAR!

YOUR CHOICE MAKES YOUR DESTINY!
A philosopher once said:
Beware of your dreams, it may become your thoughts;
Beware of your thoughts, it may become your words;
Beware of your words, it may become your actions;
Beware of your actions, it may become your habits;
Beware of your habits, it may become your character;
Beware of your character, it may become your destiny.
So, ultimately the thoughts, words, actions and the behaviour we choose to have will lead us to our destiny. Hence, this New Year, try your level best to make a better choice in your life wherever you could to lead a better and abundant life, a life in harmony with God and in harmony with our fellow brothers, a holy life pleasing to God.
Make a Resolution this New Year:
Choose to love-rather than hate; Choose to smile-rather than frown; Choose to build-rather than destroy; Choose to persevere-rather than quit; Choose to praise-rather than gossip; Choose to heal-rather than wound; Choose to give-rather than take; Choose to act-rather than delay; Choose to forgive-rather than curse;
and regarding your relationship with God-- Choose to pray-rather than despair; Choose to trust-rather than doubt; Choose to thank-rather than blaspheme; and Choose to do His will-rather than your own will.
HAVE A WONDERFUL YEAR! BE ALWAYS POSITIVE AND HOPE FOR THE BEST IN YOUR LIFE YET TO ARRIVE!!
