A NEW LIFE IN CHRIST! - Reflection of the Word
"So if anyone is in Christ, there is a new creation: everything old has passed away; see, everything has become new!"(2 Cor. 5:17)
In Christ, we all should become a new creation, brothers and sisters in Christ and in other words, loving children of God. This is the relationship which our Heavenly Father and His Son Jesus wish to have with us. They want us to become true Christians who follow the footsteps of Jesus, who bear the nature of Christ in strict obedience with the Father's commands. But you do not become Christians simply by asking Jesus into your heart. You become a Christian when you are born again to become a new creation who obtain the favour of God. As Jesus said, "Very truly, I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God without being born from above."? (John 3:3) You have to be born again with the Holy spirit in order to be saved. The apostle Paul said that when you are "in Christ", the old things pass away. In the moment of your salvation, every sin you ever committed is forgiven, every weakness and impurity you have is gone. When Christ lives in you, He brings every divine resource with Him. God wants to reveal himself to those around you by working mightily through you. He wants your family and your neighbour to see Christ in you each day. He wants to express His love through your life, your words and deeds in Christ. Hence, you have to start afresh your life this new year allowing Christ to live His life through you. Thank him for the favours you recieved in the past and for the opportunities you will recieve this year and do everything for His glory. St. Paul clearly states about what all you need to do in this new life - "So if you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth, for you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is your life is revealed, then you also will be revealed with him in glory. Put to death, therefore, whatever in you is earthly: fornication, impurity, passion, evil desire, and greed (which is idolatry). On account of these the wrath of God is coming on those who are disobedient. These are the ways you also once followed, when you were living that life. But now you must get rid of all such things—anger, wrath, malice, slander, and abusive language from your mouth. Do not lie to one another, seeing that you have stripped off the old self with its practices and have clothed yourselves with the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge according to the image of its creator. In that renewal there is no longer Greek and Jew, circumcised and uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave and free; but Christ is all and in all! As God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience. Bear with one another and, if anyone has a complaint against another, forgive each other, just as the Lord has forgiven you. Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in the one body. And be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly; teach and admonish one another in all wisdom; and with gratitude in your hearts sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs to God. And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him." (Col. 3:1-17) |

Mother of the Redeemer, with great joy we call you blessed. In order to carry out His plan of salvation, God the Father chose you before the creation of the world. You believed in His love and obeyed His word.
The Son of God desired you for His Mother when He became man to save the human race. You received Him with ready obedience and undivided heart.
The Holy Spirit loved you as His mystical spouse and filled you with singular gifts. You allowed yourself to be led by His hidden and powerful actions.
On the eve of the third Christian Millennium, we entrust to you the Church which acknowledges you and invokes you as Mother. To you, Mother of the human family and of the nations, we confidently entrust the whole of humanity, with its hopes and fears. Do not let it lack the light of true wisdom. Guide its steps in the ways of peace. Enable all to meet Christ, the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Sustain us, O Virgin Mary, on our journey of faith and obtain for us the grace of eternal salvation. PERSONALITY PROFILE: ABRAHAM THE PATRIARCH- 'Our Father in faith'
Abraham had a choice to make. His decision was between setting out with his family and belongings for an unknown foreign land or staying right where he was. He had to decide between the security of what he already had and the uncertainty of travelling under God's direction. All he had to go on was God's promise to guide and bless him. Abraham could hardly have been expected to visualize how much of the future was resting on his decision of whether to go or stay, but his obedience affected the history of the world. His decision to follow God set into motion the development of the nation that God would eventually use as his own when he visited earth himself. When Jesus Christ came to earth as a human being, God's promise was fulfilled; through Abraham the entire world was blessed.
You probably don't know the long-term effects of most decisions you make. But should not the fact that there will be long-term results cause you to think carefully and seek God's guidance as you make choices and take action today?

A) INCURABLE LEUCODERMA HEALED BY THE WORD OF GOD!
I, Chotte Lal, was suffering from Leucoderma (white spots) for the past 20 years. It started with a small white patches emerging on my hand (back of my palms) which gradually started spreading. After a few weeks, few more similar patches appeared on my leg. I went for treatment starting from local doctors and physicians to professional dermatologists and even those practicing withcraft. I even gave one man few things (which he had demanded) worth Rs.5000 besides some amount in cash in order to cure this skin disease one day. He had even foretold that after me, my wife and children will also get this disease through me. This statement scared me a lot and made me all the more restless. Even after doing everything as directed by him for over two months, I could not see even a bit of improvement in the white patches on my skin. These patches sometimes used to spread up and after few days they used to shrink back. All of them gave me a misleading hope that taking their medicine will cure me within a few weeks. But nothing happened although I had spent a lot on treatment at several places (over 15 thousand rupees). One day a gentleman told me about the healings and miracles taking place in Jeevan Dham during the prayer service. I believed in his words and came here the following Sunday. Thereafter, I kept on coming here for the prayer service every Sunday. One night I heard Jesus speaking to me, "Do not take the medicine any more. You will get healed." The next day morning I took out all the medicine and tossed them outside the house. I stopped taking treatment any further. Instead, I applied the oil on my skin which I had got blessed from Jeevan Dham. This went on for over 5 years because my faith in God and the hope of getting healed had never dwindled nor wavered. After a long time, this year the white patches started darkening to the skin colour gradually and they all disappeared leaving some marks. It was the Word of God, not medicine that was working within me while I listened to His Word and prayed to Him in faith. I thank the Lord for all the precious favours I have obtained and for healing my incurable disease.
I would advise all those who come to Jeevan Dham to put their
complete trust on God without losing hope and patience. Entrust and surrender your problems and sickness into the strong hands of Jesus, our healer, and obey hiscommandments.Acknowledge Him as your Lord and Saviour and allow Him to be the Master of your family. Then goodness and salvation will surely follow. Nothing will frighten you or discourage you because Jesus will always be with you and your family. Praise the Lord!
